About

I don’t want to put too much personal information here since that can be dangerous.  So, that’s one piece of info about me – I’m wary of what I put on the internet!  Many who will come to this page will know lots about me already. If you want some more info or have any questions, leave a comment.  I don’t come here every day but I do every few days so I’ll answer fairly quickly.

My family tree software of choice is Legacy but I have an old copy of and have used Family Tree Maker.  I usually concentrate on using Ancestry.com for most of my research but I’ve visited LDS Family Learning Centers (libraries) in Texas and Nevada. I also have some cds I purchased several years ago when I was using FTM and although they haven’t been updated in 10 years they still have valuable info on them and I use them from time to time.

“Tom” I was in Indiana a few years ago. Our 4th cousin, Gilbert Maupin, took me to Abraham Walton’s home he built in 1810. It now has an addition added on by others. I have the pictures I could add to your web sit
